Shingi Rice is a London born, self-taught photographer and creative director of Zimbabwean British origin raised in Southern Spain.
Her work is centred around the lack of authentic representation and cultural identification she has experienced in her surroundings growing up; she decided to focus on creating beautiful imagery, celebrating the underrepresented.
From late 2018, she dedicated her time to connecting with individuals, crediting social media with helping her to create relationships with other creatives, creative agencies and casting directors, enabling her to gradually build her reputation which led to opportunities with companies such as Apple, Warby Parker, Dove, Adobe, Unsplash, Getty, The US Embassy in the UK, Puma, Nike, ASOS, inStyle, Facebook and more.
